The Infinity Walk method doubles as a useful assessment tool in physical medicine. Physician’s can also quickly assess functional balance and coordination during office visits, and monitor change over time. The volunteer Infinity Walker shown in the below photos has no diagnosed motor disorder, yet his counterclockwise turning circle shows much less functional coordination. Clinicians should observe many people Infinity Walking to train their eye to distinguish between common loss of sensory-motor integration that occurs during early Infinity Walk training, and loss of balance, coordination or attention, that may suggest a more serious disease process. |
